Assets worth ₹100 crore have been discovered in the possession of Keshav Lal, a retired Additional Commissioner of the Commercial Taxes Department. These assets include jewelry worth crores, raising serious concerns regarding disproportionate assets. This case dates back to April 19, 2017, when the Income Tax Department raided his residence during his posting in Kanpur. During the search, officials reportedly recovered approximately ₹10 crore in cash and jewelry worth about ₹3 crore.
