क्या आप जानते हैं दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा रेलवे स्टेशन कौन सा है? इसका नाम है Tanggula Railway Station, जो तिब्बत के पहाड़ों में स्थित है और समुद्र तल से करीब 5,068 मीटर यानी लगभग 16,627 फीट की ऊंचाई पर बना है। यह स्टेशन Qinghai-Tibet रेलवे लाइन पर मौजूद है और इतनी ऊंचाई पर होने की वजह से यहां ऑक्सीजन का स्तर काफी कम होता है, इसलिए ट्रेनों में खास ऑक्सीजन सिस्टम भी लगाया गया है। दिलचस्प बात ये है कि यहां आम यात्रियों को ट्रेन से उतरने की अनुमति भी नहीं होती, क्योंकि मौसम और वातावरण बेहद कठोर है। 2006 में शुरू हुआ ये स्टेशन इंजीनियरिंग का एक शानदार उदाहरण माना जाता है और आज भी दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा रेलवे स्टेशन होने का रिकॉर्ड अपने नाम रखता है।

Its name is Tanggula Railway Station, which is located in the mountains of Tibet and is built at an altitude of about 5,068 meters i.e. approximately 16,627 feet above sea level. This station is located on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway line and due to its location at such a high altitude, the oxygen level here is very low, hence a special oxygen system has also been installed in the trains. Interestingly, ordinary passengers are not even allowed to get off the train here, due to the extremely harsh weather and environment. Opened in 2006, this station is considered a great example of engineering and even today it holds the record of being the highest railway station in the world.
