पश्चिम बंगाल के दूसरे चरण की वोटिंग से पहले भी हिंसा जारी है। गोघाट के वर्मा इलाके में बीजेपी की रैली के दौरान टीएमसी और बीजेपी समर्थकों की बीच झड़प हो गई। आरामबाग के गोगाहाटी इलाके में बीजेपी की चुनावी रैली के दौरान टीएमसी कार्यकर्ता आमने-सामने एक बार फिर से नजर आए। जिसके बाद दोनों तरफ से लाठी और डंडे चलने लगे। आसपास खड़ी गाड़ियों में भी तोड़फोड़ हुई है। पुलिस ने मुश्किल से हालात पर काबू पाया है।
