Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has dismissed all exit polls as an attempt to manipulate the stock market. Speaking in a closed-door virtual meeting with party leaders and workers two days before counting, Banerjee asserted that TMC is heading for a massive victory with more than 200 seats.Banerjee congratulated party workers for their strong ground campaign and warned against “false narratives” created by exit polls. She claimed similar tactics were used in 2021 and 2024. TMC leaders also raised serious allegations of brutality and intimidation by central forces, particularly against women and party workers.Abhishek Banerjee echoed these concerns, accusing the BJP and a section of media of targeting TMC supporters.
