Helicopter search and rescue operations have resumed across flood-devastated regions of Nepal, including Nuwakot and Rasuwagadhi, after weather conditions improved. China has issued a fresh warning to Nepal regarding the formation of a glacier lake on the Bhote Koshi River, accumulating over two point five million cubic meters of water and posing a severe risk of secondary bursting. The disaster has claimed 626 lives, leaving nearly two thousand people missing and thousands displaced across multiple districts. Responding to the crisis, the Indian government dispatched C-17 Globemaster aircraft carrying over 47 tons of relief material, medical teams, National Disaster Response Force personnel, and tunnel rescue experts. While 21 rescued Tamil Nadu pilgrims returned safely to Delhi and 149 Indians crossed into Nepal from China, over 300 Indian nationals remain untraceable. Continuous coordination is underway between embassies in Kathmandu and Beijing to locate missing citizens and assist local rescue missions.
