Prashant and Preeti were in a serious relationship in Madhubani. In 2012, family opposed and they ran away from their home. It created a poitical ruckus in Bihar. Police stations were set on fire and Lalu-Paswan got arrested during a protest of Bihar Bandh in october 2012.
