Karan’s father Rakesh Nath aka Rikku has managed the likes of Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Salma Agha and Kangana Ranaut in the initial phase of their careers. But even he wasn’t able to do much for his son. Karan’s maternal grandfather DK Sapru was a legendary character actor with over 300 films under his cap. While his mother Reema Rakesh Nath wrote the golden jubilee film ‘Saajan’. Karan made his debut with Shekhar Kapur’s Mr. India as a child artist. However, his first film to release as the lead actor was ‘Paagalpan’.
