In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil narrates the story of Rodda company arms heist that took place on 26 August 1914. The revolutionaries of Indian Freedom movement had shortage of ammunitions for their activities. Hence, they Planned a heist that was one of the biggest daytime heists of that time. Nobody realized that ten crates of Pistols and Bullets were missing from the consignment imported from Germany. The plan was hatched by Shirish Chandra Pal who also took revenge for Prafull Kumar Chaki’s death in 1908. Watch complete video to know more about this fascinating incident.
