A tech giant’s move from Bengaluru’s Belandur area has highlighted the city’s infrastructure problems. Black Park has clarified it is not leaving Bengaluru but is seeking an alternative location within the city due to poor roads and traffic on the Outer Ring Road (ORR). This area, which houses a significant percentage of the city’s tech companies, has long faced challenges with traffic congestion, now exacerbated by ongoing Metro construction. The ORR association has previously raised these issues with the government. In response to the situation, Karnataka Minister M. B. Patil downplayed the concerns, stating, “These are small issues, you know, when I go to London, I have to face the same thing.” He added that the government is aware of the potholes and will address them.
