The Supreme Court on 29 September 2025 pulled up Delhi’s lower courts for wrongly granting bail to a couple accused of cheating a private company of over ₹6 crore. The Bench not only cancelled their bail but also ordered two trial court judges to undergo judicial training and flagged lapses by the police. Calling it a “serious error,” the Court directed the accused to surrender within two weeks.
