The Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding the matter of the cancelled NEET UG 2026 examination. In its petition, the association has demanded that the examination be reconducted under the supervision of the Supreme Court. FAIMA has stated that confidence in the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been lost; therefore, the current governing body should be reconstituted.
