बरेली के प्रेमनगर इलाके में गाजियाबाद के सूर्या हत्याकांड जैसी वारदात को अंजाम देने की कोशिश की गई. बिलाल घोसी नाम के युवक ने वकील बृजेश मिश्रा और उनके मामा-मामी पर चाकू से हमला कर दिया. इसमें वकील घायल हो गए. प्रेमनगर पुलिस ने एक नामजद व दो अज्ञात के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट दर्ज कर ली. रविवार देर रात हुई मुठभेड़ में बिलाल घोसी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. उसके दोनों पैर में गोली लगी है.

A young man named Bilal Ghosi attacked advocate Brajesh Mishra, along with his maternal uncle and aunt, with a knife. The advocate sustained injuries in the incident. The Premnagar police have registered a case against one named individual and two unidentified persons. Bilal Ghosi was arrested late Sunday night following an encounter; he sustained gunshot wounds to both of his legs.
