The BJP contested the elections under Himanta’s leadership, and he is now poised to take the oath as Chief Minister for a second term. The swearing-in ceremony will take place in Guwahati on Tuesday, May 12. The event will be held in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah, and Chief Ministers from several other states are also expected to attend. Chief Ministers from all 22 NDA-ruled states will be part of this ceremony.
