Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha has clarified his position on the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) controversy, saying he merely helped arrange space for a press conference and did not extend any political or ideological support. Jha stated that he routinely assists civil society groups with such requests and accused sections of the media of attributing motives without reading his letter. He emphasized that he does not comment on movements whose ideology is unclear and noted that CJP never sought his support.
