Goa’s voter list has raised fresh questions over ECINet and the electoral roll process. During the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 97 voters were flagged for logical discrepancies. After document verification and hearings, Electoral Registration Officers found them eligible for inclusion. However, their names were missing from the final electoral roll published on February 21. The Goa CEO’s office later sought a rollback facility, but the Election Commission said ECINet does not have a rollback option once Form 7 deletion is initiated. The CEO office has now said many of these voters have been enrolled, while the remaining cases are being processed.
