The Supreme Court has sought a response from the Delhi Police regarding recent cases of gang-rape involving minors in the Delhi-NCR region. The Court remarked that these incidents revive memories of the 2012 Nirbhaya case and represent a failure of law enforcement. The court also expressed displeasure over the negligence regarding security in public places.
