In response to the breach of sanctity and ecological risks such as high-decibel bass triggering potential avalanches in the fragile Himalayan eco-zone Chamoli District Magistrate Gaurav Kumar issued an official notice to Garhwal Scouts Commanding Officer Colonel Shantanu for organizing the high-volume sound event without prior administrative permission, while imposing an immediate ban on loud music systems near the holy shrine.
