The Supreme Court has now stepped into the dispute between the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the 2026 batch of NALSAR University of Law. Justice Surya Kant reprimanded the BCI, stating that the matter concerns a dialogue between the students and himself, and questioning the BCI’s authority to interfere.
